Why repertoire disappears
Most guitarists lose repertoire to filing, not to memory. A piece gets downloaded on a laptop, practised for two weeks, and then buried under everything downloaded since. Coming back to it costs a search through a folder of names like score-final-2.pdf, and the piece that would have taken twenty minutes to recover never gets recovered.
A library with a title, an artist and a consistent place to look removes that cost. Returning to a piece is the point of keeping it.
What Guitar PS does and does not do with your files
Files you upload go to private storage scoped to your account, and opening one generates a short-lived signed link rather than a public URL. Guitar PS stores the organisation details needed to find the file again and nothing more.
Uploads are not sold and are not used for advertising. You remain responsible for having the rights to store and, if you choose, to publish what you upload.

- Can I read the score while a backing track plays?
- Yes. The library sits in the same workspace as the backing band, the metronome and the tuner, so a score and a practice tool can be open in the same session.
- What happens to my scores if I stop using Guitar PS?
- They stay on your account. Local practice data can also be exported from Settings at any time.
